Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Community Consultant to join our team at American Property Management. As a Community Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents and prospective tenants, while also promoting our community and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tour units with prospective tenants and highlight the unique features and selling points of our property.
  • Handle customer and tenant relations, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly and with a high level of customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and maintain reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Host community events and ensure they meet American Property Management's quality standards.
  • Assist residents throughout the rental process, from initial inquiry to move-in and beyond.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in the multifamily or student housing industry.
  • Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws, Landlord/Tenant Laws, and ADA regulations is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
