About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate RN to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient endoscopy department. As a member of our team, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
  • Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care in accordance with the BORN regulations and professional standards of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current MA RN license required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience is required.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills required.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
  • Bachelor degree in nursing, preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years Critical Care/GI experience required, unless otherwise noted in job posting.
  • Staff Endoscopy Nurse experienced preferred.
  • Certification or advanced training in specialty area preferred.
Work Environment:

The RN works in a variety of patient care environments where there may be exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials such as chemotherapeutic agents, radioisotopes, and radiation.

Caring for patients also involves exposure to human waste and other unpleasant elements. Other duties may include general cleaning with exposure to dirt, odors, cramped quarters, etc. RN's may work with angry, agitated, and combative patients.
