Responsibilities:

As a Fire Alarm Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and associated devices. You will work closely with our customers to ensure their buildings and occupants are safe and compliant with industry regulations. Your duties will include:
  • Conducting thorough inspections of fire alarm systems and devices
  • Completing inspection reports and documents with proper coding
  • Following and maintaining a highly structured inspection schedule
  • Inputting, retrieving, and archiving inspection documents via laptop computer
  • Performing duties with the safety of yourself and your colleagues and customers in mind 100% of the time

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a high level of customer service, ability to work well with others, and strong organizational skills. You will also need to be a self-starter who can work with little to no supervision and have a positive attitude and ability to learn quickly. Additionally, you will need to have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as well as the ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug test. Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and operational/product manuals is a plus, as is experience with hand tools and barcode scanners.
