We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm and Security Systems Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm and security systems in various settings.
Key Responsibilities- Install, test, and maintain fire alarm and security systems, including conventional and addressable systems, CCTV systems, and nurse call systems.
- Perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working within ducts and crawl spaces.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software, and operation manuals.
- Perform inspections and installation activities on electronic fire systems.
- Work overtime and overnight shifts during busy project schedules.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire alarm and integrated security systems maintenance or low voltage systems installation.
- Electrical installation experience.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and obtain and retain any required licenses.
- Five years of experience in fire alarm or integrated security systems maintenance preferred.
