Are you ready to take the next step in your career as a Medical Laboratory Technologist ? LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings is seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to our clinical laboratory operations.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential laboratory tests in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will support the Heart and Vascular Institute in delivering high-quality patient care.

Work Schedule:

The typical work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with varying start times as part of the team rotation.

Key Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology, meeting local regulatory requirements.
  • At least one year of clinical laboratory testing experience or a degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
  • Proficiency in Hematology, Coagulation, and Chemistry.
  • Covid vaccination or a qualified exemption waiver is mandatory.
  • Ability to pass a standardized color vision screening.
  • Flexibility to work alternate shifts as needed.
  • Previous experience with LabCorp is advantageous.
  • ASCP or AMT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the acceptability of specimens for testing based on established criteria.
  • Execute routine and complex technical procedures in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Make informed technical decisions regarding testing and problem resolution.
  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
  • Deliver accurate and timely test results to enhance patient care.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of testing materials.
  • Assist with specimen processing when necessary.
  • Uphold a safe working environment and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
