Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paraeducator to join our team at Renton School. As a Paraeducator, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs in our Instructional Learning Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, implementation, and assessment
  • Help students with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Monitor and report student progress to teachers and parents
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Documentation of one of the following:
    1. A copy of an official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higher
    2. 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100 level and higher courses
    3. Official documentation of a passing score on the ETS ParaPro assessment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a 182-day work calendar and paid holidays. Start and end times may vary by location/school schedule.
