We are currently looking for a qualified Electrical Technician to enhance our property management team.

In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the upkeep and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, and appliances, adhering to high standards of quality and compliance with regulations.

Key Highlights:

  • Hourly compensation ranging from $19 to $21.50

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections of electrical systems, promptly identifying and resolving issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems to minimize operational downtime.
  • Replace or upgrade electrical components, fixtures, and wiring as necessary.
  • Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with safety standards and regulations.

  • Collaborate with contractors and team members on electrical installation projects.
  • Respond swiftly to emergency electrical situations, including outages and failures.
  • Diagnose and resolve urgent electrical issues efficiently to limit disruptions.
  • Implement preventive measures to reduce the likelihood of future emergencies.
  • Maintain thorough records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Prepare reports detailing completed work, materials utilized, and suggestions for enhancements.
  • Communicate effectively with the property management team regarding electrical conditions and concerns.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while executing electrical tasks.
  • Conduct regular safety assessments of electrical equipment and systems to identify potential risks.
  • Implement corrective actions to address safety issues and maintain a secure working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Field Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an Electrician, ideally within property management or a similar field.
  • Possession of a valid electrician license or certification is required.
  • A Journeyman Electrician license is mandatory.
  • Electrician Contractor License is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical issues and executing repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to safety practices and protocols.
  • Attention to detail with the capability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various conditions.
  • A valid Driver's License is essential for fulfilling job responsibilities.

Physical Requirements: The role requires regular walking, standing, and using hands for various tasks. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
