We are seeking a skilled Travel Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Alabama A&M University As a key member of our administrative services department, you will be responsible for managing travel reports, analyzing financial data, and providing exceptional customer service to university staff.

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you should hold a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting or related field, with 1-2 years of professional level experience in customer service, travel, reconciliation, and compliance. Your strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills will enable you to excel in this role.

We offer a competitive salary range of $43,000 - $54,700 annually, based on your qualifications and location. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health care, dental, vision, retirement, deferred compensation plans, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, short and long-term disability, holidays, vacation, and sick leave.

Responsibilities:

  • Process travel requests and expenses reports in SAP Concur and traditional paper form.
  • Analyze financial documents, verify accuracy, and complete necessary approvals.
  • Communicate with University faculty, staff, and students regarding travel arrangements.
  • Provide training sessions on SAP Concur travel management system.
  • Maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Meet deadlines for travel request processing.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by management.
