Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled PowerBuilder Developer to join our team at Eliassen Group. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining a mission-critical application using PowerBuilder. Your strong technical skills and experience with PB10 or more recent versions will enable you to make significant contributions to our projects.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned developer to leverage their expertise in PowerBuilder and SQL to drive business growth and process improvement. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions to meet their goals. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in resolving complex technical issues and ensuring high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
* Enhance and maintain a mission-critical application using PowerBuilder
* Code and test data windows to replace over 100 sample test result spreadsheet formats coded using an outdated 3rd party software tool
* Implement coding and testing bug fixes and other functional enhancements to the system
* Design SharePoint and web-based solutions to support Preconstruction and Scoping business processes that are valuable to the transportation lifecycle

Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience as a PowerBuilder developer using PB10 or more recent versions
* Strong SQL skills (HiCAMS uses a Sybase database but SQL skills in any database platform are acceptable)
* Strong Microsoft Suite experience, particularly Excel
* Experience with standard development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, unit & system testing, quality assurance testing as well as experience with business process transformation
* Strong analytical, conceptual, and technical skills
* Positive interpersonal skills coupled with an independent, self-motivated work ethic
* Ability to work with a custom base-class
* Proven written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain business processes to IT users and IT applications to business users

PREFERRED SKILLS:
* Development experience in C#
* Development experience in Java
* Experience coding stored procedures and triggers (any database)
* Experience developing in a Visual Studio environment
* Data conversion experience

Salary: $40-$50 per hour. Other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of this range.
