Alternative HR LLC is in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Beverage Service Technician to join our dedicated team.

The Beverage Service Technician will be responsible for traveling to customer locations to perform a variety of tasks, including diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various beverage machines, such as espresso machines and coffee brewers, without direct supervision. Continuous training opportunities, including classes and online seminars, will be provided to enhance your skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, and install beverage equipment. Training will be provided.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
  • Manage inventory of company-provided parts, equipment, and vehicle.
  • Coordinate with dispatch to maintain the schedule and communicate any delays to customers.
  • Adhere to company processes, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Utilize company-provided devices for scheduling, inventory management, and customer records.
  • Work hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional weekend on-call duties. Flexibility in hours may be required based on business needs.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate punctuality and reliability.
Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in foodservice appliance repair is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficient in using basic hand and power tools, as well as specialized job-related tools.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • A passion for espresso or coffee is beneficial.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Capability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Willingness to spend significant time traveling in a company vehicle.
  • Manual dexterity is required for working with tools and operating computers.
