Job OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic Lead Mental Health Tech to join our team. As a Lead Mental Health Tech, you will perform basic patient care services related to behavioral health under the supervision of the nurse (RN). You will also assist the patient care team with maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, crisis intervention, and activities of daily living.
Responsibilities- Obtain vital signs, height and weight, intake and output, calorie counts.
- Establish effective rapport with patients.
- Monitor and provide protection to ensure patient safety; this includes escorting patients and restraining them if needed.
- Perform bedside glucose testing and collection of samples for lab as needed.
- Assist the RN to collect data from patients on admission for patient processing and discharge preparations as instructed.
- Certified Behavioral Health Technician preferred, PCT training within 6 months of hire.
- High school or GED preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association, CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required for Behavioral Health.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service).
