Job Overview:. As an Insurance Agent, you will be primarily responsible for the sale of non-standard auto insurance to new and existing customers. Your main goal will be to solicit new business and maintain current business levels to achieve or exceed sales production goals. You will need to expand business by proactively building relationships with existing customers to meet agreed-upon production goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurate accounting of all currency transactions and timely delivery of deposits to the bank with scanned documentation in the agency management system. A key aspect of this role is connecting quickly with clients, building and leveraging relationships, and educating and advising customers on which products best fit their needs.
Requirements:. To succeed in this role, you should have a Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license (though not required) and be bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred). Relevant sales or customer service experience is necessary, along with a high school diploma or GED. The ideal candidate should be able to build strong relationships with sales customers, possess excellent follow-up and multi-tasking skills, and be highly motivated by opportunities for advancement. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential for success in this role.

Salary Information:. Based on industry standards and regional market conditions, we estimate the salary for this role to be around $14-$16 per hour. This compensation package includes a competitive base salary, monthly uncapped commissions, renewal commissions, and monthly bonus incentives. Please note that these figures may vary based on individual performance and other factors.
