Post Surgical/Medical RN Per Diem Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Per Diem RN, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice.
You will work closely with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients and their families. Your high standards of professional ethics and commitment to delivering high-quality care will make you an integral member of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
- Administer and monitor therapeutic interventions and regimes, documenting all patient interactions and outcomes.
- Effectively manage rapidly changing situations, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
- Participate in clinical decision-making, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.
- Delegate and monitor care rendered by other members of the nursing department and healthcare team, ensuring seamless coordination of patient care.
- Demonstrate standard precautions and patient safety principles in practice, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in orientation, education, and development of the healthcare team, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Identify and participate in performance improvement activities, driving quality and safety initiatives within the organization.
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid NJ RN License and demonstrate knowledge of nursing skills, hospital practices, procedures, and standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers are essential.
