Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust the nursing care process as necessary. Our patients rely on you to communicate and advocate on their behalf to their family, other staff, and physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring and reporting patient medical conditions
  • Develop and implement plans of care and health teaching based on patient and family needs
  • Float to the Med/Surg department as needed
  • Perform other nursing tasks as required
Requirements
  • Graduate of a state-accredited school of nursing with current Iowa RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
  • OB experience required
