Position Summary:

Full-Time Medical Technologist

As a Medical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of testing and analysis. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing all authorized laboratory protocols in designated areas of expertise, necessitating a robust understanding of theoretical concepts and technical skills.
  • Utilizing independent judgment with minimal to moderate supervision to deliver accurate results.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in routine procedures, interpreting findings, and taking necessary actions, while managing your workload effectively to meet patient demands.
  • Assessing the acceptability of test results based on established criteria and seeking guidance from senior technologists or supervisors when necessary.
  • Documenting corrective measures when quality control metrics fall outside acceptable ranges, in compliance with established policies and CAP proficiency standards.
  • Adhering to best practice methodologies and laboratory compliance protocols to ensure quality and safety.
  • Maintaining high-quality test performance through daily equipment upkeep and monitoring supply levels.
  • Practicing stringent infection control measures, including proper hand hygiene and the use of personal protective equipment, to safeguard both patients and yourself.

Qualifications:

Full-Time Medical Technologist

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including recent graduates who have completed clinical rotations in a hospital setting. Experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician is also acceptable.
  • Medical Technologist (MT) certification is required to commence employment.
  • ASCP certification or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
