Introduction

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital. As a PRN, you will have the flexibility to choose your shifts and work at your own pace.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist performs technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates equipment used to expose the x-ray image as well as process and organize the image in PACS. This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures as needed
  • Regulate equipment to expose x-ray images and process them in PACS
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of patient images and procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Current certification as a Registered CT Technologist (RCT)
  • Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
