Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters, including corporations, labor and employment, business, energy, oil and gas, probate and trust, real estate, and bankruptcy cases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, and prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and mediation.
  • Negotiate settlements for legal disputes and comply with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law, including managing client relationships and communicating with clients and colleagues.

Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Texas State Bar and in good standing.
  • Previous experience in a Law Firm environment, preferably in commercial litigation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and communicate effectively.
