Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at our Coos Bay, OR facility. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to the care of patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Teach patients and significant others about their care and health management.
  • Document patient care in the medical record, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Current Oregon RN license.
  • ACLS (AHA) certification.
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • NIHSS certification.
  • Experience in ICU or PCU/IMCU settings, with a focus on cardiac care.
  • Ability to read and interpret rhythms and cardiac drips.
  • Experience with radial and groin PCI access and bleed management.
  • Ability to work on both ICU and PCU/IMCU units.
