We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Educator to join our team at Della Infotech. As a Critical Care Educator, you will play a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating staff nurse development or educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Clinical & Professional Development, Clinical Nurse Managers, and Chief Nursing Officer in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating staff nurse development or educational needs.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs to core nursing competencies for AD and BSN prepared staff.
  • Utilize a variety of methods to communicate information and facilitate learning, taking into account the age and culture of learners.
  • Prioritize effectively and address multiple responsibilities and requests for services.
  • Maintain expertise in electronic health record processes and operate applicable office and patient care equipment.
  • Exhibit the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision.
  • Support staff in using new technology and demonstrate understanding and effective application of adult learning principles.
  • Exercise good judgment and demonstrate effective critical thinking skills.
Requirements
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • BSN (or willingness to obtain within 3 years).
  • Exhibits desire to sit for ANCC professional development credentialing.
  • Experience teaching large and small groups.
  • 3-5 years of recent Critical Care experience.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly pay rate, a 20% perm placement fee, and a $30,000 sign-on bonus. We also provide contingent offers for nurses without an Oregon license, with a licensing process taking 2-3 weeks.
