Job Summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide virtual speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in a Kentucky school district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations to diagnose disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide remote speech and language therapy services to K-12 students through teletherapy technology, utilizing best practices and evidence-based methods.
  • Document student progress and collaborate with parents and school personnel to ensure effective treatment and progress towards goals.
  • Collaborate with other members of the student's educational team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of services.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in speech and language pathology, applying this knowledge to improve treatment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Kentucky SLP license or eligibility.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
  • Experience providing virtual speech and language therapy services, with a strong understanding of teletherapy technology and software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to pass a technical screening and provide personal liability insurance.
  • Minimum 2 years of school-based experience, with a strong understanding of educational settings and procedures.
