Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Valet Parking Manager to join our team at SP+ Hospitality. As a key member of our parking operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of valet parking services and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of valet parking operations, including supervising staff and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests and visitors, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Oversee parking services and rates, ensuring that they are competitive and aligned with company standards.
  • Assist in event planning and coordination, ensuring that all events are executed smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Valet Parking Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent required; prior guest service and hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, guests, and clients.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Valid state driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Google or Microsoft software experience.
  • Valet parking software working experience.
  • Hotel management experience.
  • 4+ years of service-related management experience.
  • Proven ability to manage a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
Work Environment

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel in order to handle cash and equipment; talk and listen. Associates are frequently required to reach and or sign (communicate) with hands and arms. The associate is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Associates work in and around potentially dangerous traffic situations, and associates are to be safety conscious at all times. Associates are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions including snow storms and extreme heat. Associates are regularly exposed to high levels of noise and/or fumes from vehicles. Associates on occasion must lift/move up to 75 lbs.
