We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at First Steps Nursing and Therapy Services PLLC. As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of our clients' homes, working closely with our team to deliver exceptional service.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced RN/LVN to provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, hands-on care to assigned clients, including administering medications, treatments, and therapies.
  • Assess patients' condition and report changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary.
  • Implement the plan of care provided by the clinician and submit timely documentation via our e-charting system, Kantime.
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers.

Requirements:

  • Current, unencumbered Texas license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Meet physical demands of lifting, transfers, kneeling, and standing.
