This full-time, clinician/educator tenure track role will collaborate with a team of committed faculty and leaders who are building upon a longstanding tradition of excellence in dental education while broadening our role as a national resource for the dental field. Responsibilities will encompass clinical, laboratory, and theoretical instruction, as well as research endeavors. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational and communication abilities, with a proven track record of collaborative work in a collegial, interdisciplinary setting. Academic rank will be determined based on qualifications.

The primary appointment will be within the Department of Endodontics.

Qualifications:

Eligible candidates must possess:

  • A DDS or DMD degree from an ADA accredited Dental School, along with successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination.
  • A Certificate in Endodontics from an ADA Accredited Institution or an equivalent qualification from an international program, complemented by completion of an ADA accredited clinical specialty program.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Nebraska, with the ability to obtain credentialing from relevant third-party payer systems.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Capability to nurture student learning, growth, and decision-making in alignment with their aspirations, achievements, well-being, and requirements;

Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capacity to quickly and effectively establish rapport with diverse populations;

Empathy and understanding for the experiences of others;

Evidence of outstanding university-level teaching and/or significant scholarly publications.
