Job Summary

The Front-End Department Head is a key role at PGA TOUR Superstore, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences in our stores. This position oversees the Club Services Desk and Front-End operations, ensuring seamless execution of our Experience Game Plan and adherence to Company Merchandise Standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and oversee all Club Services and Front-End operations, providing expert input to drive sales and elevate customer experiences.
  • Act as the expert of the assigned department(s), communicating expectations and standards to execute Company programs.
  • Execute the role of a Starter (greeter) when not actively engaged in supporting Services or Front-End operations, ensuring customers receive a warm greeting and guidance on product locations.
  • Direct on-floor work assignments and provide specific departmental training for all Associates, promoting a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Participate in weekly department walks with the Sales and Service Manager to evaluate the state of the business and create worklists for self/department Associates.
  • Assist in maintaining Front-End and Services merchandise presence at a premiere stock and visual level to drive sales and customer experiences.
  • Ensure all Club Services and Front-End areas, equipment, and supplies are always clean, organized, and operational.
  • Responsible for but not limited to basic club repair duties, G&T App Management, retrieving BOPIS orders for customers, processing trade-ins, and executing Cleaning & Equipment Maintenance Checklist.
  • Ensure compliance with all Loss Prevention policies and procedures to maintain store inventory accuracy and a safe and secure workplace.

Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate cross-functionally and lead by example.
  • Basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
  • Ability to manage conflict, lead conflict resolution, and hold others accountable.
  • Business acumen with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  • Leadership skills with a Servant Leadership approach, promoting a culture of customer service and excellence.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on business needs.
