In this seasonal role as a Receptionist, your focus will be on delivering exceptional service to clients during the busy tax season. Flexibility is key, as you will be required to work in various dynamic environments from January through April.


This position offers the unique opportunity to enjoy a flexible schedule while gaining valuable experience and additional income. Successful performance this season may lead to opportunities for future seasons or career advancement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients warmly and professionally
  • Assist in matching clients with the most suitable tax professionals
  • Coordinate client scheduling preferences
  • Ensure all client needs are addressed upon their departure
  • Maintain a tidy and organized office environment in collaboration with team members
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in a fast-paced work setting
  • Background in customer service preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in sales and/or marketing
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with cash register operations
  • Proficiency in using Windows-based computer systems

This position is offered through an independently owned franchise office operating under an agreement with H&R Block. Franchisees are responsible for their own hiring decisions.
