Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team at TRUCKING PEOPLE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Freightliner or Kenworth truck with automatic transmission and step deck flatbed trailers.
  • Transport new propane tanks across the Eastern United States.
  • Meet safety requirements, including wearing steel toe boots, a hard hat, gloves, and a safety vest.
  • Verify securement of loads and assist with unloading.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding passengers and pets.

Requirements:

  • 6 months of flatbed experience.
  • Winter driving experience.
  • Ability to work a 5-6 day week with varying start times and routes.

Benefits:

  • Average weekly pay: $1,725 - $1,825.
  • Stop pay: $50 per stop.
  • Delay pay: $25 per hour.

Additional Information:

Home time: 34-hour reset at home every week. Layovers required: 1-4 per week. Miles: 2,175 avg miles per week.
