Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Imaging Specialist at HexaQuEST Health, Inc., you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.

You will also be required to bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions in order to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. Additionally, you will troubleshoot basic maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.

Requirements:

Facility Requirements:
Travelers must have a permanent address outside of 50 miles from Madison and must include their permanent address in their profile, including their resume and onboarding documents.

Experience:
Minimum two years of clinical imaging experience is required. Travelers must have experience in an Academic Level - Trauma center or similar size hospital. Prior traveler experience is also required.

Licensure and Certification:
Certification by the appropriate body (ARRT) and a Wisconsin Radiological License are required. BLS - issued by the American Heart Association only.

Education:
Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.

Additional Requirements:
Travelers are required to have 2 completed references from recent work environments/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).

Travelers may be required to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on their competency skills/experience.

Shifts may be scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.

During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete the contract.

UW Health 1 South Park Street, Madison, WI and 451 Junction Road, Madison, WI.

Quick Start.

Shifts:
36 hours/week, Days, Typically 8 hour shifts, Monday - Friday. Start times between 7:30 - 8:45 AM and end times between 4:00-5:15 PM.
