Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Concentra Career Choice. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology, with experience in performing routine x-ray examinations and supporting medical procedures. You will be responsible for preparing patients for radiologic procedures, operating radiologic equipment, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during exams.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, including escorting patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, providing verbal and written instructions, and assisting patients in positioning body parts for radiography.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, including positioning equipment and adjusting controls to set exposure time and distance.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  • Ensure all radiologic equipment remains in working order, reporting any malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
  • Follow all radiology workflows and ensure accurate documentation of patient x-ray visits.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and certified by the state in which employed.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
