Job Overview

Fusion Technology LLC is a leading provider of comprehensive IT services and solutions to mission-critical US Government programs and the Intel Community. As a Cable Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' operations by installing and maintaining their internet service provider (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) cabling infrastructure.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in cabling installation and maintenance. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills, be physically fit, and have the ability to work in various environments, including outdoor settings. The position involves performing tasks such as site preparation, cable dressing, labeling, and documentation, as well as leading the installation of ISP/OSP cabling and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform site preparation and implementation activities required to implement approved ISP/OSP solution.
  • Operate hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
  • May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
  • Lead the installation of ISP/OSP cabling, installation of racks/cabinets & equipment.
  • Perform cable dressing, labeling, and documentation.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in cabling installation and maintenance.
  • An active Top Secret security clearance (Fusion Technology will also offer to upgrade your clearance to an active Top Secret while working on this project).
  • A valid passport with at least 6+ months from expiration.
  • The ability to travel and work abroad, including locations in Southwest Asia, Pacific region, and Europe.
Benefits

Fusion Technology LLC offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience. In addition to the base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
