Energy Efficiency Customer Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of an Energy Efficiency Customer Support Specialist in our remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in customer-facing environments and have a passion for helping others achieve energy efficiency.
This is a remote position that can be located anywhere. As an Energy Efficiency Customer Support Specialist, you will play a key role in assisting utility customers in saving money, making their homes more energy efficient, and contributing to a better climate through sustainable practices.
Main Responsibilities:
- You will provide exceptional customer support on multiple programs using various platforms, including customer service, visit scheduling, customer enrollment, program offering education, tech support, online support, and status updates.
- Each call will be unique, requiring a different type of service for a diverse range of utility customers.
- You will have access to a wide range of support scripts, from verbatim to simple usage guides.
- Some programs may involve chat or email interactions with customers.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- You must be able to type at a speed of 35+ words per minute.
- No attendance or punctuality concerns are acceptable.
- You should be able to thrive in an intensive environment, balancing customer support while navigating multiple platforms simultaneously.
- A minimum of six months of previous experience within a customer-facing environment is required; call center experience in an inbound/outbound sales environment is preferred.
- You should be sales-oriented with a focus on customer service satisfaction.
- The estimated salary for this position is around $45,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on location and experience.
