About the Job: We are seeking an experienced Energy Modeling Software Developer to join our team at Vermont Energy Investment. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data analytics software to support energy efficiency programs, carbon optimization, and implementation services. You will work closely with our engineering team to develop and maintain software solutions that meet the needs of our internal and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data analytics software to support internal and external clients.
  • Provide OpenStudio building energy modeling software support, including writing Python scripts to support modeling, input matrices, output visualization, customer-friendly user interfaces, and connecting to key features of physics-based calculation engines.
  • Create visualizations and output reports of modeling outputs that are easy for clients to understand and interpret.
