We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at UNC Rex Healthcare. As a critical care specialist, you will provide patient care to our adult critical care patient population and work closely with our inpatient care teams.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient data and make pharmaceutical care interventions
- Provide pharmacokinetic management and support to inpatient nursing units
- Offer drug information to clinicians and counsel patients on pharmaceutical care issues
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
- Represent the Department of Pharmacy on hospital committees
We are looking for a pharmacist with a strong background in critical care and emergency medicine. A Board Certified Critical Care or Emergency Medicine Pharmacist (BCCCP or BCEMP) and completion of a PGY1 and PGY2 residency or equivalent experience are preferred.
