Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Contra Costa County, CA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve their functional abilities and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their mobility, strength, and coordination.
  • Implement and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on adaptive equipment, transfer techniques, and other relevant topics.
  • Conduct evaluations of adaptive/assistive equipment to facilitate positioning, function, or specific problems.
  • Coordinate therapy services with physical therapists, speech therapists, and nursing staff.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Current California license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
