We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team at Carondelet St. Marys Hospital. As an Endoscopy RN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Implements and monitors patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and preferences.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among healthcare team members.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification, with other certifications as required by individual department.
- Minimum of one year of Endoscopy experience as an RN, with a strong background in patient care and nursing procedures.
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or other certifications as required by individual department.
