Job Title: RN Specialty Cath Lab FT Days

Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cath Lab team on a full-time basis. As a RN in our Cath Lab, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary:

The RN Specialty Cath Lab FT Days will provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and technicians, to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient care and outcomes in the electronic medical record, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or other certifications as required by the department.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
