Job Summary:

As a CT Technologist at Adventist Health, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality diagnostic images that help our medical team diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions. Your expertise in operating computed tomography (CT) equipment will be essential in producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
  • Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
  • Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR
  • ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
