Job Summary

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue. Your expertise will be essential in diagnosing medical conditions and providing accurate imaging results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
  • Use PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
  • Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required
