About the Role:The RN Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and directing the daily activities on the nursing unit, overseeing the coordination of care, and conducting quality, safety, experience, and leader rounding. You will also act as a mentor to new grad RNs, provide just-in-time education, and clinical program evidence-based practice deployment and advancement.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement staffing plans for shifts based on patient acuity, patient census, and available staff.
- Serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical problems and participate in patient and safety rounding, providing real-time feedback to staff.
- Assist staff to efficiently utilize staffing resources to meet patient care requirements and other professional responsibilities.
- Provide support, guidance, and feedback to staff, giving ongoing timely feedback, verbal and written anecdotes, to staff on performance.
- Assist staff to provide a safe work environment for patient care and assist in the preparation and implementation of the annual goals for the department.
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular OR setting.
