Job Summary:

This part-time Carpenter Helper position is located at the Georgia Garrison Training Center, Fort Stewart.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Carpenter Helper, you will assist an advanced-level carpenter in performing basic carpentry tasks, including repair, maintenance, and construction of state and federal buildings and related structures.

You will also be responsible for installing and maintaining security, climate control, and other facilities systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

We prefer candidates who possess a high school diploma or GED and one year of experience in maintenance and/or carpentry type construction.

Candidates with a certification for forklift operation and defensive driving will also be given preference.
