Job Summary:

This part-time carpentry position is located at the Georgia Garrison Training Center, Fort Stewart.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a carpentry assistant, you will work under the supervision of an advanced-level carpenter to perform basic carpentry tasks, including repair, maintenance, and construction of state and federal buildings and related structures.

You will also be responsible for installing and maintaining security, climate control, and other facilities systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with a high school diploma or GED and one year of experience in maintenance and/or carpentry type construction.

Prior experience with forklift operation and defensive driving is also a plus.
