Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at LENZ Therapeutics. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for our pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to GMP operators at CMOs as Person-In-Plant (PIP)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing-related issues
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality
  • Support regulatory filings and provide technical documentation for CMC-related sections
  • Apply statistical methods to analyze production performance data and identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements:

  • BS or BA in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or similar
  • 5-7 years of biopharmaceutical experience
  • Strong background in cGMPs, manufacturing, analytical, and process engineering
  • Experience working at/with a CMO in Drug Substance and/or Drug Product manufacturing roles
  • Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) manufacturing experience preferred
