We are seeking a skilled Process Development Engineer to join our team at Surf Search. This exciting opportunity is for a rapidly growing medical devices company in the cardiovascular space, expected to go public next year.
The Process Development Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new and improved manufacturing processes for our control console program. This role will provide daily support for products, processes, materials, and supplier management, as well as equipment for new and sustaining products.
Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or biomedical.
- 3+ years' experience in medical device manufacturing engineering.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Lean Manufacturing, Design of Experiments (DoE), technology/process transfer, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Understanding of medical device design controls and quality systems.
- Experience in a regulated environment, preferably medical device.
- Solid knowledge of FDA regulations and interpretation of guidelines and policy statements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize, record, and implement procedures.
- Six Sigma training and certification preferred.
- Experience with CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
