The Laboratory Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and directing laboratory staff, ensuring that all tests and procedures are performed accurately and efficiently. This includes planning and conducting training sessions, counseling staff on methods and techniques, and overseeing quality control programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory policies and procedures, as well as experience with governmental proficiency test programs. They will be knowledgeable of embedding stations, microtomes, autostainers, and coverslippers, and have a strong background in manual staining and frozen section processing.

Responsibilities- Supervise and direct laboratory staff in the performance of laboratory tests and procedures
- Plan and conduct training sessions for laboratory personnel

- Licensed as a clinical laboratory technologist by the NYSED
- Meet one of the qualification requirements of a laboratory supervisor as outlined in Title 10, Section of the New York Public Health Law
