We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Shiloh Industries. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing shift production, supporting group activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality parts following established procedures and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities- Production Oversight: Supervise shift production, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team environment to support the Shiloh Production System (SPS) Safety and Quality Culture.
- Standardized Work: Develop, audit, and implement Standardized Work with team leaders, ensuring that all processes are optimized for quality, safety, and delivery.
- Training and Development: Train team leaders in all Standardized Work, including Safety, Quality, and Delivery processes, and assist with cross-training objectives.
- Performance Management: Conduct one-on-one daily Gemba (shop-floor) walks to mentor and drive root-cause analysis with team leaders, and achieve area Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Disciplinary Processes: Ensure that all applicable disciplinary processes are adhered to, and support the performance review process for team leaders and team members.
- Education and Experience: Minimum three (3) years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the automotive industry, with a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Solution-oriented with the ability to investigate and analyze data for problem-solving, knowledge of Standardized Work Instructions, and strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: None required.
