Job Responsibilities
  • Delivering expert nursing care as a CNS in post-acute care facilities
  • Monitoring care options and collaborating with medical staff on outcomes
  • Developing care plans in partnership with residents and healthcare teams
  • Ensuring adherence to resident care plans
  • Setting up and overseeing medical equipment
  • Administering appropriate treatments and medications to residents
  • Collecting bodily fluids for laboratory analysis
  • Discussing care options with residents and their families
  • Ensuring compliance with facility policies and nursing standards
  • Supervising accurate documentation of resident histories and interventions
  • Providing training and guidance to nursing and support staff
  • Assisting with incident investigations as needed
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Florida state license to practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
  • Successful completion of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a nursing or related role
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
  • Strong organizational skills
