Position Responsibilities:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Documenting patient needs and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Assessing patient conditions and determining appropriate nursing interventions.
- Leading team discussions to develop individualized care plans.
- Coordinating care for patients undergoing therapies or procedures.
- Maintaining effective communication with patients and their families.
- Reporting significant observations to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assisting in emergency situations as necessary.
- Participating in ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
