About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Music Therapist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing music therapy services to patients, maximizing their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of music therapy operations and services, aligning with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  • Provide music therapy sessions to patients, focusing on enhancing their overall quality of life.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement music therapy plans.
  • Conduct music therapy sessions in various settings, including hospitals, hospices, and patient homes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Music or related field preferred.
  • Masters degree in Music Therapy or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of clinical experience, with hospital-based experience preferred.
  • MT-BC Certification from Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) preferred.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
