About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Music Therapist to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Music Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing music therapy services to patients, maximizing their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the mission, vision, philosophy, and values of CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region, particularly in music therapy operations and services.
  • Provide music therapy to patients to enhance their overall quality of life.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of music therapy programs and services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of music therapy services.
  • Conduct music therapy sessions with patients, adapting to their individual needs and goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Music or related field preferred.
  • Masters degree in Music Therapy or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of clinical experience, with hospital-based experience preferred.
  • MT-BC Certification from Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) preferred.
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
