Key Responsibilities

  • Process and submit third-party insurance claims associated with medication dispensing.
  • Resolve insurance problems and patient issues related to billing errors or incomplete information.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Research and respond to insurance companies and governmental payors regarding billing issues or related questions.
  • Communicate with patients, physician's offices, and insurance carriers to expedite billing claims.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in revenue cycle or medical insurance related roles.
  • 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Must live within a 1-hour commute from the Monroeville area.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare insurance billing related experience.
  • Insurance billing or collections experience.
  • Medicare B experience.
  • Customer service experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience working in a healthcare reimbursement system.

Education

  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.

Compensation

The typical pay range for this role is $28.45 per hour. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
