Nurse Care Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering post-acute care as an LPN
  • Monitoring residents' physical and mental wellbeing, tracking vital signs
  • Performing intakes of residents, documenting health concerns and medical histories
  • Reviewing medical records and charts of residents
  • Properly administering medications, verifying accuracy
  • Maintaining appropriate levels of medical supplies
  • Creating a safe, comfortable environment for residents
  • Assisting with IV set up, vaccinations, and phlebotomies
  • Accountable for adhering to care plans for residents
  • Supporting medical staff with orientation and training

Requirements:

  • Current Maryland state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Completion of approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) educational program
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months experience in LPN or related role
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs

Estimated Salary Range: $37-$51 per hour
